Incastonato tra i monoliti dei Fori Imperiali e i Palazzi del governo del Quirinale, si trova il quartiere Monti. Un quartiere del XVIII secolo molto grazioso che si distingue tra altri quartieri della città.
Gli edifici in stile barocco, gli affreschi di color pastello, le piazzette. Troverai tutto questo nei quartieri del Testaccio e di Ostiense, che si trovano lungo la zona del fiume Tevere sotto Trastevere. Testaccio è un quartiere costruito tra la fine del XIX secolo e l’inizio del XX secolo con edifici in stile romano, che comprendono migliaia di urne in terracotta.
Il quartiere di Ostiense si caratterizza per una serie di ponti in acciaio e comprende molti musei, come il Centrale Montemartini ospitato in una vecchia stazione dismessa.
Trastevere è un quartiere medievale affascinante con un proprio temperamento. Una passeggiata intorno a Trastevere, un distretto della classe media con una vita notturna scoppiettante, ti porta negli angoli nascosti di Roma.
Prenestino è un quartiere che si trova nella parte est della città, ricca di monumenti e attrazioni turistiche.
I visited this area a few years ago and took the glass boottm boat to these beaches. We did not know we would be sent to the beach, the tour did not mention it. I was not dressed for getting out of the boat (sundress and leather sandals) and it was very cold. The boat captain kicked us all out (we brought everything with us though it was not water proof) and we sat wet and shivering on the beach for 2 hours at sunset! Not romantic or good for lovers. Very beautiful but cold and distressing, no mention of when they would be back and large waves to wade through, I am not a swimmer! Getting back into the boat (and even recognizing which boat was ours) was difficult, I had to be tossed in by someone and one fellow almost did not make it with all the waves and was throwing his stuff in the boat and hitting other passengers, cameras, shoes . NOT FUN! So be careful and be prepared to go ashore. Very beautiful scenery and the setting sun coming through the arch was so lovely, I love the photos I have from that trip (almost didn’t have while I almost lost my camera in the waves. Now I heard about the Canadians who were swept into the sea on Divorce beach and the man was killed. Terrible they were only standing on the beach. Be careful!
